Welcome to the Intermountain Animal Rescue.
We are a nationwide, community-driven animal rescue organization focused on evacuation assistance, emergency response, disaster relief, and animal transport.
In cooperation with FEMA and by Presidential Executive Order 13407, we are an IPAWS (Integrated Public Alert and Warning System) Developing Partner. We are developing a critical IPAWS notification extension system that will connect evacuees and victims of natural disaster with trained and capable responders in their area. We have created a registry where you will be able to register any animals that may require additional assistance in the event of a natural disaster.
With the IAR (Intermountain Animal Rescue) app, you can register your animals, register as a volunteer or responder, sign up for local alerts, join our foster and adoption programs, and much more.
We anticipate releasing a light / beta version and mobile registry by the end of 2020 with nationwide implementation and availability in 2021.
We will offer a variety of safety and training courses in cooperation with state and local officials that will be open to the public at regional chapters across the country starting mid 2020.
